What would you do? You receive an email offer for free DVD’s. forward it to all your friends delete it without opening it open it to see what it says

TRY AGAIN! Forwarding e-mail offers is impolite, can spread viruses, and is called “spamming.”

WAY TO GO! If an offer looks too good to be true it probably is! Don’t open email with obvious advertising gimmicks.

TRY AGAIN! Opening suspicious email can cause problems such as viruses and spyware.

What are the rules for good netiquette? Don’t copy software from the internet or friends. It’s like stealing and is illegal. Don’t forward jokes or other prank email. Always give credit for information you use from the internet. Don’t use someone else’s ideas without citing them.

What types of activities are considered bad manners online? Spamming—sending unwanted e-mails Flaming—comments which cause strong feelings of hatred. Hacking—breaking into computers to steal or tamper with files
