2 What is a virus? A virus is a software program that is capable of causing great harm to files and other programs on the same computer. It can replicate it self, so you start of with one virus, and it can grow. A true virus cannot spread to another computer, without you deliberately doing something. However, a virus caused by scammers can spread to another computer just by you clicking the page.

3 What damage can a virus do? A virus can cause several damages, such as: Damage files Remove files Slow down your computer freeze your computer Different viruses are: I love you virus Melissa virus happy 99 virus How can you stop yourself from getting a virus on your computer? Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Run the anti spyware removal programs Run a complete scan with free

4 Are there any disadvantages to using anti-virus software? Yes there are many disadvantages to using anti-virus software's, for example: You have to update it everyday or else, viruses could still get in to your computer. You have to run it continuously. It takes up resources.

5 What is Hacking? Hacking is illegal or unwanted access into peoples account. Hacking is what causes viruses, which does a lot of damage to peoples computers.

6 Hackers could cause several damages such as: Uploading private pictures of you. Uploading private information of you. Stealing personal information from your computer such as: Bank account details Work details Family details They could steal your identity.

7 You can stop hackers from getting on your computer by doing these things: Never leave your computers connected to the internet. Have a firewall Have a strong password that has a selection of letters and numbers in it.

9 Why is it important to back up you information? It is important to back up your important information in case you lose your work. For example, if you need evidence for something and you have lost the important information, you should have another way to access that information. Also, in case you need 2 copies of something, but you only had one which you had already deleted. You should have somewhere you can get your deleted work from, or you should save it on a memory stick.
