4 What is Cyber Bullying? Sending a mean or threatening e-mail
Forwarding a private communication to others Setting up web sites to mock others Posting embarrassing photos or videos Forwarding gossip to hurt another Impersonating someone else to spread rumors

5 What to do About Cyber Bullying
Prevention Use netiquette Don’t send messages when you’re upset Assume that online communications are never really private Avoid sharing buddy lists If it happens to you Tell someone Don’t react to the bully Don’t delete the messages or images Block the bully If you are threatened, tell the police

6 Internet Safety Tips NEVER give out personal information
Address, phone number, name of school Tell an adult if anything online makes you uncomfortable NEVER agree to meet someone you met online Do NOT send anyone your picture Do NOT open or accept s, files, links, URLs, or IMs from people you do not know or trust
