CGS 3269: COMPUTER SYSTEMS ARCHITECTURE SPRING 2002

GRADE CURVE FOR TEST # 1 AND 2 65 – 80 : B 55 – 65 : C 50 – 55 : D < 50 : F GRADE CURVE FOR FINAL EXAM WILL BE DETERMINED BY CLASS PERFORMANCE

CALCULATION OF FINAL GRADE TOTAL OF THREE TESTS (TEST # 1, TEST # 2, FINAL EXAM) GRADES WILL BE ASSIGNED BASED ON BEST OF TWO OUT OF THREE. THIS MEANS THAT THE LOWEST GRADE SCORED IN ANY ONE OF THE THREE TESTS WILL BE DROPPED AND THE FINAL GRADE WILL BE CALCULATED USING THE GRADES SCORED ON THE REMAINING TWO TESTS.

CALCULATION OF FINAL GRADE THIS IS A ONE-TIME EXCEPTION TO THE PREVIOUSLY-ANNOUNCED GRADING POLICY, TO ADDRESS ISSUES THAT STUDENTS MIGHT HAVE HAD IN THE PAST. STEPS HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO ENSURE NO FUTURE OCCURANCES TAKE PLACE.
