IEEE Student Branch Serves as a platform for students to share their knowledge, ideas, views and concerns Provides an opportunity to network with peers and mentors

What after you graduate ? Is there a similar forum ? Yes ! In the form of IEEE Graduates Of the Last Decade (IEEE GOLD)

IEEE GOLD Offers a similar forum for young engineers in the initial years of their career. A platform to share their views, ideas, experience and concerns Provides an opportunity to network with peers and mentors

IEEE GOLD – How to be a GOLD member ? An IEEE member whose year of graduation falls in the last decade is a GOLD member. The GOLD chapter can be formed as an affinity group of a section Formation of the Chapter and organising activities for the chapter gives more visibility to the GOLD members and more financial support for the parent entity.

IEEE GOLD – A Brief History Formed to address the following Issues Identified Bridge Transition from Student Member to Member To meet the professional needs of Recent Graduate Affinity Group Raise comfort level and involvement of Young Professionals at the local level

IEEE GOLD – How do we make the start ?
