Vocabulary 1.I own some shoes that used to belong to my mother-in-law. I dont wear them very often. 2.I really respect people who work and go to school at the same time. 3.I think my friend Antonello deserves to be successful in life. 4.My job involves quite a lot of prep time. 5.I trust Angel completely.

Vocabulary 6.The color orange doesnt suit me. 7.I suspect that I make more mistakes when Im tired than I realize. 8.I envy people who can multitask. 9.If my grandmother saw me now, she probably wouldnt recognize me. 10.I adore hamsters but I detest guinea pigs.

Activities you´ve done to pass the time at the airport. I try to read. Usually Im too nervous or busy watching people to read. Ive never really slept at the airport. Im always too nervous. I people-watch a lot at the airport. I never have a coffee but before a long flight sometimes Ill have a large green tea from Starbucks. I think its good to stay hydrated before a long flight. I sometimes phone family and friends. I used to phone Angel but now we fly together. I try to read. Usually Im too nervous or busy watching people to read. Ive never really slept at the airport. #4 Ive been working as a flight attendant for seven years and I love my job. At the moment I am waiting to fly to Rome, so Im phoning some friends to pass the time. Ive never had a really scary experience, although once we were flying across the Atlantic and one of the engines stopped working. Luckily it happened while most people were sleeping and we managed to land safely. I suppose the best thing about the job is the discounts. Next month Im flying to Australia on holiday and the flight only cost me 95 pounds! And the worst thing? I hate security checks. Ive gone through about 20 this week already!
