CBSD Differentiated Supervision Review February 2015

Differentiated Supervision Steps to submit required forms: 1. Log on to PA ETEP You can also get to the link via the district SharePoint page under Staff Links 2. This presentation has step-by-step screen shots to help you understand the initial requirements for Differentiated Supervision. Click the link for the icon All teachers on Differentiated Supervision will need to complete documents in PA eTEP. Documents are sequenced for completion. The following slides show you the required pages for submission via the tool. Please use the statements on the forms to help you complete your forms. Note – everyone should copy the district-wide goal, etc.

How to Begin… 3. Click on the 1st step in the box (4 total) 1. Click on My Observation tab at top of the screen 2. Click on the D to begin the observation 3. Click on the 1st step in the box (4 total)

District Goal Once you log in to PA eTEP, under Differentiated Supervision Plan you will find this screen --- My Observations. You will need to type in the district goal on this page. Please use the goal stated above: DISTRICT GOAL FOR 2014-15: To drive our instructional focus across the district using benchmarking, diagnostic, and classroom data.

You will need to type in the Purpose/ Rationale: THIS GOAL IS IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE DISTRICT’S VISION AND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. Steps and/or actions to achieve goal: List all activities that have occurred to date, including building-led data digs, department or grade level meetings, data days, be sure to include work you may have completed individually or in collaboration with colleagues to meet this goal.

Next Steps: Teachers will meet with building principals individually or in small groups to review Differentiated Supervision portfolio. This will be done within the next few weeks Differentiated Supervision portfolio should be located in your Data Folder on the Lesson Plan Folder. All plans should be submitted by May 4, 2015 for final review unless otherwise noted by principal. Your final year end review will be done after the 4th step and self- assessment rubric will follow. At this time we will review evidence together.
