2 Clerical Flexible Days
Professional employees may work from home or school to attend to job-related clerical items. For the school year, the following clerical dates apply: 11/3/15, 1/18/16, and 3/24/16 (3.5 hours per day total of 10.5 hours)

3 Building Clerical Time
First clerical day of the year FLEXIBLE 8/10-18/15 or 8/24 & 25/15 (one day or broken over 2 days, for a total of 7 hours) Last clerical day of the year. 6/6/16

5 Flexible Professional Learning Days
Professional employees who are pre-approved for Professional Learning Plans may work according to the timeline and tentative dates, hours, and location identified on their plan. 8/21 (pm), 11/3, 1/18, and 3/24 (3.5 hours per day) TOTAL of 14 hours of Flexible Professional Learning Time in year 1 and 24.5 in year 2.

6 Flexible Professional Learning Days
Summer work, work from home, work at school on dates you select ... TOTAL of 14 hours of Flexible Professional Learning Time in Year 1 TOTAL of up to 24.5 hours of Flexible Professional Learning Time in Year 2 and beyond.

7 DISTRICT Professional Learning Days
Professional employees attending district directed professional learning: 8/21 (pm), 11/3, 1/18, and 3/24 (3.5 hours per day total of 14 hours)

8 Differentiated Supervision
The differentiated supervision model reflects the work of the committee and provides options for teachers who have: Completed three satisfactory years of teaching in the district, Obtained a Level II certificate, Received a “Satisfactory” summative rating in the previous two years, and Demonstrated “Proficient” or “Distinguished” teaching on the 82-1 document

9 Differentiated Supervision
A professional employee participating in the differentiated supervision model will participate in the “Formal Observation” once during each three year period. The administration will conduct walk-through observations on ALL employees each year.

11 FORMAL OBSERVATION Formal observations will occur using the PDE endorsed Danielson Framework for Teaching (2007 or later editions). All temporary professional employees, professional employees new to the district, and those in the differentiated supervision model formal observation year will be formally observed using the current electronic observation tool.

12 PROFESSIONAL LEARNING ACTION PLANS
ALL professional staff are required to complete Professional Learning Action Plans Independently, dyads, triads – refer to Differentiated Supervision Models District Directed

13 Danielson Domains Planning and Preparation (must link with a minimum of two (2) components): Classroom Environment (must link with either component 2a or 2b; special education teachers may use 2d): Instruction (must link with a minimum of two (2) components):

14 Professional Learning Action Plan
