Northern Snakehead Fish Native to the great lakes Came from Asia people were afraid it would out compete other fish chemicals and catch and kill, found in newyork Northern Snakehead Fish

Spiny Water Flea These came from Northern Europe and Asia These have a very strong affect on aquatic life and can harm fish These creatures are known in the great lakes found in newyork

The Asian shore crab Native to Russia, in the new York area, they came from international shipping, they feed on small larva of fish and could negatively affect the ecosystem

Giant African Land Snail these giant snails came from Africa, illegal to keep as pets in the USA, they can carry disease and harm the ecosystem as long with humans. They are native to wetlands urban areas and humid places found in newyork

Sea Lamprey in order to control these they must kill everything in the pond or water because once they start they don’t stop, this hurts the ecosystem by killing fish, they were from the Atlantic ocean but reported in Erie in 1921, and later on in the great lakes found in newyork

Giant Hogweed this is a very dangerous plants, this can affect humans and the ecosystem by its burning plant juice that will blind and burn, this was brought from Europe to north America, they control this by burning down some of these trees, found in newyork

Mute Swans in the early 20’s some of these escaped from New jersey and in New York in a zoo and were later on found in the Atlantic passageway, the birds are very aggressive, these are native to Africa and Eurasia

Emerald Ash Borer this bug is a very big killer of the emerald ash tree, they used these sticky boxes to control these species, these originate from northern china and arrived through crates being shipped over. Found in newyork

Fallow Deer this is native to the Mediterranean Fallow Deer this is native to the Mediterranean. These are smaller deer that always have a dotted pattern to them. In some cases male deer can be very aggressive, these are not in the united states

Round Goby this is native to the northern western part of new York by the great lakes they rapidly spawn on shores. There are many long-term affects on the shores and other fish like over population
