Wings 2.0 Business Flow Reference Basics

This presentation describes: Overview This presentation describes: logging into the system, changing your password, using menu icons, switching roles and exiting the system.

Login This screen is used to gain access into Wings. Enter your username

Login Enter your password

Login Press enter

Changing Your Password After entering your username and password if you want to change your password click this button.

Changing Your Password After you click on the box the window on the left will appear. Type new password. Then re-enter new password.

Changing Your Password Click OK button.

Menu Icons Enter Query (F7) Execute Query (F8) Cancel Query List of Values (F9) Previous Record Next Record Insert Record (F6) Delete Record Save Record (F10) Puts the screen in ENTER QUERY mode waiting for you to specify your selection criteria. Sends the query to the database server and, if successful, puts the screen back into NORMAL mode. Terminates query mode and puts the screen back into NORMAL mode. Displays the LOV associated with the field either when the form is in ENTER-QUERY mode or when the current field is updateable. Displays the next record. Displays the previous record. Insert record creates a new record after the current record. Deletes the current record. Saves your changes to the database.

Menu Icons Quick Editor to show data Edit Barcode Starts the Scan Barcode window Messages Starts the message window to view all messages sent to you. Tasks Allows users to schedule tasks/reports to be printed later. Attach Opens attachment window. Help Opens help screen Lock This will lock the oracle session.

Switching Roles After you enter the system, a window similar to this will appear. Choose user roles by clicking Explanation.

Switching Roles Program groups will appear after you click on the role. Program groups can be expanded by clicking on the plus sign.

Switching Roles Choose the sub program from the list. Double click on the program to start the application or report.

Help Menu There are two ways to access Wings Help. Either click on the question mark icon on the tool bar or select Help from the menu bar.

Help Menu The Contents tab displays the available help by programs

Help Menu Click on the index tab to display alphabetized list of help topics. Type in the keyword. Click on the Display button.

Help Menu Click on the Search tab to search help by keyword.

Exiting The System Click the exit button to close Wings.

Exiting The System A confirmation window will display. Click Yes to close Wings or No to return to the Wings main menu.
