Installing Citrix Receiver

1 Installing Citrix Receiver http://kccctx.kingsborough.edu

2 Go to http://kccctx.kingsborough.edu

3 Check the license agreement box and click Install
You will be prompted to install Citrix Receiver to access your applications, check the box next to “I agree with the Citrix license agreement” then click Install.

4 When prompted to run or save Citrix Receiver file, click Run
When a message appears asking if you want to run or save CitrixReceiver.exe from kccctx.kingsborough.edu, click Run. When prompted to run or save Citrix Receiver file, click Run

5 After it runs a security check…

6 …click Install to install Citrix Receiver on your computer

7 Please wait while Citrix Receiver is installed…

8 When asked to run the ‘Citrix Systems, Inc.’ add-on, click Allow
Click “Allow” if asked to run the following add-on: ‘Citrix Systems, Inc.’ from ‘Citrix System, Inc.’ When asked to run the ‘Citrix Systems, Inc.’ add-on, click Allow

9 When the installation is complete, click Finish

10 When prompted, enter your KB username (first initial & last name) and password
A login screen will appear, enter your KB login credentials, first initial and last name and your KB password.

11 Once logged in, you will see your name in the top right corner…
…and a Kingsborough Applications icon in the middle Once logged in, you will see your name appear on the top right and a Kingsborough Applications icon in the center of the screen.

12 Click on the icon to access the Desktop Viewer
Click on the Kingsborough Applications icon to access your applications.

13 Please wait a moment while it connects…

14 When a security warning appears, click Permit Use

16 Click the arrow to toggle the toolbar
Click the arrow at the top of the Desktop Viewer window to show the XenDesktop toolbar.

26 Disconnect button Pressing Disconnect will close the window but will leave your virtual desktop running, allowing you to re-connect and return to what you were doing when you left. Disconnect dialog.

27 …click on the plus sign tab on the left

33 To start an application, double-click an icon or right-click and select Start
