Key Conclusions of Workshop Session 5: Research and future work needs – topics and ways of work

Additional topics (focus: Art 9 + CEA CEA/valuation studies not only procedural issues also institutional aspects: also research issue Using Multi criteria instead of CEA/CBA? Exchange on problems related methodologies related to ERC (more than the work done so far) - different views why are ERC not used in the plans if methodologies are partly there Broad approach for valuation (e.g. considering health issues) Research on how to change behavior (water users) Search for new measures /alternative approaches and assess CEA+ developing forecasts (e.g. ecological engineering) Clarify discounting (also on environmental goods) Recommendations on how to put AQUAMONEY-results into practice role of non-market valuation studies in decision making (policy question) Exchange on: impacts of increasing CR on a specific sector Comparing different methodologies on complex issues (green infrastructure) CEA of biological and other farming, agricultural measures, chemicals, morphology
