Circuits

Electric Current When electrons move through a conductor it is called an electric current Some electric currents flow on a path called an electric circuit

Electric Circuit The two basic pathways traveled in an electrical circuit are… Series Circuit Parallel Circuit

Series Circuit In a series circuit there is only one possible pathway that connects all components in a circuit. If the circuit is broken none of the components will receive electrical current.

Parallel Circuit In a parallel circuit there is more than one possible pathway that connects all components in a circuit. If the circuit is broken some of the components may still receive electrical current.
