Grading Policy Homework - 10% Quizzes - 30% Labs - 10% Tests - 50%

Lab Reports All labs must be submitted neatly and in full sentences You must submit 1200 minutes of lab time in order to be eligible for the regents Late labs will receive a 5 point deduction each day they are late. After 10 days they go in the book as a zero. However, you still need to submit them for Regents credit.

Projects There will be numerous projects done during the year. They must be given full effort and will be graded with high rigor. Each quarter you will submit a piece of your mandatory science fair project. This will count as a test grade.

Make Up Work The only acceptable time to come pick up work that is missed is before/after school or during A- Block. Homework can be handed in one class day late for a grade of a 65 It is your responsibility to get the work you missed. After one week from absence, any work not handed in will become a ZERO!!

Extra Help Mornings: Offered before a Test only. Afternoons: Tuesdays at 2:30pm. You can schedule after school extra help as needed.

Ready for a fun year? I am very excited for our year together. I am hoping that you will start to love science as much as I do.
