Community: People go to church because if a family goes to church god will be there to pray for the family to in the church.

What is carving Carving in art: Carving is a piece of wood which is carved to a picture or a statue which has a meaning behind it. Definition of Carve : Carve is a way to shape a wood or something solid to a shape.

History time

Who invented it Egyptian civilization had invented carving. Reason: They invented it to make the Egyptian God’s figures from gold. To make the tomb for the mummy to be put in like the mummy ritual.

When It was made a long time ago. It was made in the Ancient Egypt. Then it was found by the Greeks then they used it for trading like the Egyptians does along time ago.

When was it use ? In China it was use for a long time ago it was use to decorate temple's. But in Catholic church it is use to carve the pictures to show when god is going to be in the cross the steps people carve the steps in the wood and hang it in the church. It is also use to decorate the church with statues and caring the materials use in church such as the altar the gates and more.

Why A long time ago it was made to trade for one civilization and another. Sometime ago it was made to decorate halls and boats. (the boats for transportation before cars are invented). Now most people use them as decor either in houses or public places such as the church, restaurant and more to interest people and to make the place look good and acceptable.

Conclusion My conclusion is that after searching this arts I think they are very helpful to help decorate and appreciate saint’s because we can carve or paint the saint’s or even mother Mary, Jesus and more.
