Online testing had two models. Use a Local Caching Server (LCS) Have students connect straight to the state testing Web servers. We choose the LCS for the following reasons. Maintain a local store of the testing material Maintain a local copy of the testing data until uploaded to the State. Eliminate all the outside variables during test time. Test Application set as a package to be easily installed on any District computer. We have set the program to by pass local server and go straight to state if there is an issue with the local server.
