Animal Research Project The Gray Wolf By: Anna and Grace

Appearance Wolves can come in a variety of colors. Wolves are can be about 5 to 7 feet long. They can weight as little as 55 and up to 130lb.

Habitat Wolves live in Asia,north America and europe.

Diet It eats deer, elk, moose, and caribou. It hunts animals and eats animals that have already died.

Protection Wolves travel in packs with about seven wolves.

Animal Group Mammal Warm Blooded Fur Vertebrate

Interesting Facts Wolves usually hunt within territories, ranging from 50 to 1,000 square miles. Wolf pups are born blind and deaf. They must be cared for until they are about 10 months old. Gray wolves can eat 20 to 30 pounds of meat in one meal. They can go up to 14 days between meals with no ill effects.
