Animal Facts Diet The Wolverine is an omnivore which means it eats plants and meat. An average meal for a Wolverine would be a big animal like a Caribou , a Moose , or a Mountain Goat. Description The Wolverines fur is brown with a black mask and an ivory, yellow, or blond stripe on it’s back . The male Wolverine grows up to 18 inch. (46cm) tall . The female wolverine grows up to 14 inch. (36cm) tall . The male Wolverine grows up to 45 inch. (110cm) long . The female wolverine grows up to 36 inch. (91cm) long. Their tale grows to be about 8 inch. (20cm.) Wolverines weight reaches around LBS. A wolverines big feet allow them to walk on top of snow . A wolverines fur protects them from the cold temperatures (and wolverines also have webbed feet.) Movement The Wolverine walks in a lumber with it’s head low as if it was starring at a phone. It can run up to 30 miles per hour which is really fast for something 18 inches tall(or if your talking about a female 14 inches tall)but sadly the wolverine is not as fast as a car. 1) Type a description of your animal 2) Type whether your animal is an herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore and what does it eat? 3) text telling how your animal moves 4) pic showing your animal 5)change fonts and colors to personalize. BRRR!! Habitat The deer said BRRR!! Map showing where your animal lives Picture showing your animal in its habitat. Wolverines live mostly in Alpine and Arctic Regions of Northern Canada, and Alaska, and Siberia, and Scandinavia. Wolverines live where it’s cold and grassy and where there's a lot of trees. They have adapted in ways like having strong paws so it doesn’t sink in the snow and a Wolverines strong feet help it to climb. 1) Map showing where your animal lives 2) pic of your animal in its habitat. 3) text telling where your animal lives, description of habitat, and any adaptations animal has to live in habitat 4) change fonts and colors to personalize.

4 A picture of the animal as a grown/ mature animal.
Life Cycle Wolverines are mammals like humans so their babies are born live. Females give birth to 2-3 babies at the same time every single year now that’s a lot of babies. It takes about days for a female to have a baby. The mom Wolverine takes care of her babies sometimes until her babies are ready to have babies. Wolverines are ready to have babies at about 2 years old (can you imagine having babies that young?) A baby wolverine is called a kit. Kits are covered in white fur when they are born. Adults live by themselves unless they have a kit or kits. Adults look like a dog, skunk, bear with short legs and an elongated snout (elongated means longer than normal) and a mask of dark hair around there eyes and they also have a stripe of yellow, blond, or ivory, that runs down there back and there fur is brown. Wolverines usually live for 7-12 years. 1) Info about when animal a baby 2) pic of your animal as baby or when young 3) text telling about animal changes as growing into an adult 4) pic of your animal as an adult 5) change fonts and colors to personalize. 5 Animal Interactions Wolverines communicate to other animals by scent marking scent marking is were wolverines use their scent to mark their territory. Wolverines also communicate by howling and growling. Wolverines don’t really interact with other animals unless hunting or being hunted. Pic of animal adaptation that allows it to protect itself This wolverine is telling something to back off. Yes a wolverine does have predators a wolverines predators include humans, mountain lions, wolves, and bears. The wolverines dense hairs don’t collect frost from the cold temperatures. So basically the wolverines fur protects it from the cold. The wolverine also uses it’s powerful jaws and claws to tell it’s predators to back off. This is a mountain lion it is one of a wolverines predators. 1) Info about animal adaptation that protects your animal 2) pic and caption of an adaptation 3) text telling about another animal interaction (enemy, predator, prey, etc) 4) pic and caption of enemy, predator, prey, etc. 5) change fonts and colors to personalize.
