Preparation of Transporter (I) - turn the green knurled nut of the Transporter, as shown, anticlockwise, until the cartridge can be placed in the Transporter´s compartment. Transporter

Preparation of Transporter (II) - take the cartridge and put it into the Transporter´s compartment. cartridge

Preparation of Transporter (III) -for a safe and firm seat of the cartridge, turn the green knurled nut of the Transporter clockwise, as shown, until the plunger softly touches the rubber end of the cartridge.

Preparation of Transporter (IV) - take the Transporter Adapter out of it´s sterile packaging. - screw the Transporter Adapter on to the Transporter. Ensure that the adapter needle pierces the rubber seal of the cartridge.

Filling of Ampoule (I) -take an INJEX-Ampoule out of it´s sterile packaging and press the plunger completely into the INJEX-Ampoule to force the air out of the Ampoule. Ampoule plunger

open the protective cap of the Transporter Adapter. -screw the INJEX-Ampoule, clockwise, as shown, into the open end of the Adapter until it fits tightly. Filling of Ampoule (II)

Filling of Ampoule (III) -turn the green knurled nut at the upper end of the Transporter, clockwise, as shown, until the desired dose of the pharmaceutical agent is in the INJEX-Ampoule.

unscrew the filled INJEX-Ampoule from the Adapter in an anticlockwise direction and close the protective cap. Filling of Ampoule (IV)

Preparation of the Injector (I) - take the loaded and safeguarded Injector out of the Reset Box. Injector Reset-Box

Preparation of the Injector (II) -screw the filled INJEX-Ampoule clockwise into the open end of the Injector (the last round goes a little bit harder, this is normal).

Preparation of the Injector (III) - push the green safety ring towards the Ampoule into Safe off position. Now the Injector is ready for use.

The Injection -hold the Injector under firm pressure perpendicularly to the injection site (i.e. abdomen), until a clear indentation forms on the skin. Press the trigger and release the injection. Hold the Injector on the injection site for another 1 – 2 sec.

unscrew the INJEX-Ampoule and discard it – domestic waste -. After the Injection (I)

push the green safety ring back into the Safe position. -store the secured and non-reset Injector and its accessories in the INJEX Case. After the Injection (II)
