Ne…pas To make it negative you put ne before the verb and pas after the verb. Par exemple J’aime le fromage … Je n’aime pas le fromage

Ne…que To say only put the ne before the verb and que after the verb. Par exemple Je fais mes devoirs Je ne fais que mes devoirs

Ne…rien To say nothing you put ne before the verb and rien after the verb. Par exemple J’aime jouer du piano Je n’aime rien

Ne….ni…ni To say neither nor you put the ni before the first item and again before the second. Par exemple J’aime aller en ville et au cinéma. Je n’aime aller ni en ville ni au cinéma.
