Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Writing Assignment

As we know, Ransom Riggs, the author of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children was first a collector of old photographs. He became inspired by these photos to create his first novel. He incorporated characters and plot development that included some of his favorite photos. Below is a link to his website where he discusses his collection and novels. http://www.ransomriggs.com Your mission is to choose one of the following photographs to inspire your creativity. You will create a character with peculiar abilities that is represented by the photo you have chosen. Give them a name, a background life, what their peculiar ability is, how they first found out about their ability, and how that ability can be helpful to them. Don’t forget to check spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. This is not an informative narrative, make it a first person narrative, where you are the character.
