Perspective Taking Empathy Lesson #2

What is the definition of EMPATHY? Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. Being empathetic is a conscious decision. I CAN…recognize and share the feelings and perspective of others.

Today you are going to choose a shoe and imagine the real life of the person who owns the shoe. Using the graphic organizer, answer the questions. Then, on the back, write a paragraph synthesizing the information from your graphic organizer to tell a story about the person who walks in that shoe.
