UEF Activity Plan 2013-2017 UEF Presidency UEF CONGRESS 2013

1. UEF IS ACTIVE AND INTERESTING Continuously developing its activities, the Union of European Foresters is the voice of its member organizations, foresters and forest experts in Europe. UEF is an active, visible and interesting organization for other stakeholders, authorities and new member organizations in Europe.

2.UEF IS PRESENT AND COOPERATIVE The Union of European Foresters is active and present in bodies and processes connected to forest sector at the European and EU level. UEF takes positions in important matters concerning forests, forestry and forest-based industries. The cooperation with stakeholders, EU Commission and Parliament is important. The Forest Europe, INC and other European processes are as well of high importance.

3. UEF SHARE INFORMATION The Union of European Foresters is giving a good flow of important information to the member organizations about the forest sector. The tools for a high level of information flow are improved continuously.

4. UEF PROMOTES CONTACTS The contacts and interaction between the forest experts are important for the Union of European Foresters. The UEF network of organizations and individual members is a great possibility for exchanging experiences and good practices.

5. UEF ECONOMY The activities of UEF are based on the economic frames mainly coming from the membership fees. The level of activity will be as high as the incomes give possibilities to.
