About Me! Make sure you grab class flyer! I have lived in AZ since I was 4! I am a Kyrene Kid I went to Lagos, Milenio and Akimel I lived in Ahwatukee but recently moved to Tempe! I am not married and have no children. I have two fur babies. I have loved reading for as long as I can remember! I struggled with writing, but with the help of some amazing teachers, I became a much stronger writer. This is why I want to teach! This is my second year teaching! Second year in Kyrene. Graduated from ASU in May 2017. Student taught and interned at CMS .  

Course Overview myPerspectives is an English language arts curriculum that values the perspective of the learner, collectively and individually, and provides next-gen learning experiences that promote higher achievement and develop the competencies needed for college and career readiness. Interactive learning blends print and technology in a student-centered, teacher-inspired classroom. This dynamic Pearson program creates an interactive, engaging, and relevant learning environment through readings, meaningful activities, and purposeful performance tasks. myPerspectives encourages social collaboration as well as student ownership of learning through goal setting, choice, and reflection.

Grading Policy The grades will be weighted accordingly.     20% homework, practice, in class assignments     80% assessments, projects, tests, and quizzes Grading Scale                                       90 - 100% = A     80 - 89% = B     70 - 79% = C     60 - 69% = D     0 - 59% = F

Homework Policy Students are expected to complete assignments and turn them in on the date they are due. Students will receive partial credit for late work. Students may earn full credit for a late assignment by attending Learning Lab (before school) or Homework Club (after school) and completing the work.
