Date Task Review Week commencing 29.01.18 Set up a section on WordPress for unit 8. Come up with initial ideas. This went to plan which meant that I could move onto the next stage without any worries. Week commencing 05.02.18 Do contextual research for your FMP. Find my FMP concept: genre, target audience, what the feature articles include, interactive pieces I will produce and the name of the magazine. (production Research) Create a presentation of the FMP concept. This worked out well and all of the work that I did through out the assessment week helped my plan my presentation to show my ideas to the class. Week commencing 12.02.18 I need to present the presentation and get constrictive feedback from the class. With the constructive research start writing the print version and start putting it together. Any research mad not in the production diary. Plan an interview with someone who does street running. Hand in proposal 16th February. I have taken the constructive feedback in and taken notes of what people thought. I have got an interview with Claire Duffy who prefers to run through streets compared to a treadmill. Not only this but I have been adding websites which I have used for research onto the production diary blog post. I have started writing print article and adding in places where I need to get quotes and who form. Week commencing 19.02.18 Ask someone to do a food diary for a week and the Unhealthy food eaten provide alternatives. On Tuesday 20th Interview Claire about her running. Get images of people doing exercises. (Lauren Farrell, who goes to the gym regularly.) Thursday 22nd speak to a gym instructor to get tips on the best ways to stay healthy. I have got an interview with Claire Duffy however, I had to do this on Thursday as her schedule changed on Tuesday. I was unable to speak to a gym instructor, so I found some secondary research that answered the questions which I was going to ask in the interview. Due to me taking photos of Lauren Farrell I asked her to do the food diary so that the reader will get more of an idea on how to stay healthy. Week commencing 26.02.18 Hand in the draft copy of the print article with photos. Start the online article. Include links into the production diary blog post that I have used for the online article. (production research) I have added my draft copy of the print article to my WordPress. Along side this I have started my online article and including links which I will include in the article and referencing them as well as the books that I am using. Week commencing 05.03.18 Look through WordPress to make sure all work noted above has been included. Make sure that only three blog posts have been used. Do primary research to get helpful tips on how to stay healthy- Go to a slimming word class/ Read dieting books. Add quotes from primary research into the article. I have looked into going to a slimming world class to get an interview but I am unable to do so. An alternate interview I will do for this is speaking to a nurse who give out regular information on staying healthy and how to loose weight. I will additionally include quotes from books that I have research for primary research.

Date Tasks Review Hand in the draft article for the online article. Week commencing 12.03.18 Hand in the draft article for the online article. Start designing the Layout and design work for print and online. I have handed in the online article and starting the the design for the online and print article. I created my video for the Fajitas a week earlier so that it gives me more time to work on my print and online article. I also edited the video and added in the music. Week commencing 19.03.18 Hand in the design for the print and online articles. (Monday) Create a Video on how to make fajitas healthy. This week I am spending extra time on my print and online article so that it is my best work. I will additionally retake two photos as they look blurry and I don’t know why. I have retaken the photos at the gym and they are the same quality as the others that I have taken which is good as it means that the photos are the same quality throughout. Week commencing 26.03.18 Edit the video, add in music and text etc. Check WordPress to make sure that everything is in the right order. Due to already making and editing my video I have continued working on my online and print articles on the way they look. Easter Holiday 02.04.18 - 13.04.18 Rest and if any work needs doing do it in these weeks!!!! During the Easter holidays I did work that I got told to improved on my feedback. Week commencing 26.04.18 Hand in the Final product of the print and online articles. If everything is fine with the first task Try and have ago at making a second interactive article. I have not handed in my final products because I feel that I still need time on them and add in finishing touches. Week commencing 05.05.18 Hand in the second interactive article (if needed.) I created another article on 5 reasons why you should go to New York and added this to the online article. Week commencing 07.04.18 Start final reflective statement. I have started my reflective statement and made hyperlinks from the document to other documents for a more detailed evaluation. I have finished my final reflective statement in under 500 words. I have also hyperlinked other parts of the reflective statement to the reflective statement so that I can go into more detail in them. Week commencing 21.05.18 All work needs to be uploaded to WordPress. Final FMP deadline. I have updated al of my work as I have gone along so it is all up to date.
