Core Curriculum All students will study the following subjects: English (Language and Literature, worth 2 GCSEs) Maths (worth 1 GCSE) Science (worth 2 GCSEs, can be upgraded to 3 by taking Science as an option) PE (Not examined) Tutorial / PSRE Programme / Character and Culture (Not examined)

Time Allocation English – 8 hours Maths – 9 hours Science – 10 hours PE – 3 hours Option A – 5 hours Option B – 5 hours Option C – 5 hours Option D – 5 hours

Optional Subjects Art Business Studies Dance Design and Technology Drama Food and Nutrition French Further Science Geography Music PE Spanish Include V for Voc and * for EBACC

Optional Subjects Vocational Business Vocation ICT BTEC Sport Food and Cookery / Catering Child Development Engineering Learning Support – not examined Include V for Voc and * for EBACC

All students must choose AT LEAST ONE of the following subjects: A Modern Foreign Language (French / Spanish) OR A Humanities subject (History / Geography)
