Halloween CEIP RAMON MACIP –DOLORS GRANÉS

Halloween in our school Halloween is an Anglo-Saxon festival, but in our school the oldest pupils have celebrated it, too. Activities: The most original pumpkin contest Trick or treat

The most original pumpkin contest Some pupils of 3 rd, 4 th, 5 th and 6 th course participated in the second pumpkin contest of our school. They should create or decorate a pumpkin in order to be the most original. Pupils could do it in pairs, in groups (4 children maximum) or individually. All the pumkins were exhibited in the corridor the last week of October. It was very difficult to decide the winners because all the pumpkins were extraordinary. Lets have a look at them!

The most original pumpkins are: 1 st award Daniel García and Víctor Velázquez (6A class)

3 rd award Joel Maestro (4A class) 2 nd award Marçal Cabra (3B class) Maria Cabra (5A class)

4 th award Aleix Cánovas and Vinyet Tejedor (3A class) 5 th award Abenet Vives and Ainhoa Riba (4A class)

Trick or treat Pupils of 6 th course dressed up and explained Halloween tradition for all the school on the 31 st of October. They asked children Trick or treat and gave them a real fright. Before going out of the classrooms, the oldest pupils of the school gave the children a bag full of sweets. Each year the children are looking forward to this moment.

Pupils prepare the bags of sweets…

… and corridor decorations.

Pupils are making up to play …

… and they obtain excellent results!!!

Now, 6 th course pupils are ready to start.

They explain the Halloween story (Jack on lantern) and the saying Trick or treat to the youngest pupils …

… and finally frighten the youngest children!!!
