3 The Origin Halloween is short for All Hallow Eve It comes from the Celts They think it’s the end of the summer and the beginning of the winter On that day, all the ghosts wander in the world The Celts wear masks to frighten them away

4 Customs Jack O‘ Lantern Trick or Treat Bobbing for Apples People go to the masquerade, dressing like ghosts, witches, and goblinsPeople go to the masquerade, dressing like ghosts, witches, and goblins

5 Jack O‘ Lantern It’s made of pumpkin Children will dress up and go out with a Jack O’ Lantern on Halloween

6 Trick or Treat Children go to the neighborhood, knock the door and say “trick or treat” The hosts should give a lot of candies to the kids If they don’t, the children will play a trick on them Attention
