Professional Development Presents – The CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification Training Presented by: Tina Cerney & Roslyn Horn Description: The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Program is a safe, nonharmful behavior management system designed to help human service professionals provide for the Care, Welfare, Safety and Security of everyone involved in a crisis situation. This includes disruptive, assaultive, and out-of-control persons and staff members. This refresher focuses on review of key concepts in a way that engages participants and encourages interaction. Participants will have the opportunity to problem solve and focus on applying the information to the challenges they face in the school setting. A review and practice of the non-violent physical crisis intervention techniques as well as the personal safety techniques will be included.
