Course Date and time Location Description The NHS Mary Seacole Leadership Programme The Mary Seacole programme is a leadership development programme from the NHS Leadership Academy designed and developed for people working in health and social care. The programme is specifically for those newly in or aspiring to be in a formal first time leadership role. There are 6 cohorts scheduled in 2019, each cohort will be delivered at a different location across the Surrey Heartlands. Mouth care training 26 September 22 November 22 January A3 A2 A2 This one hour training is aimed at providing front line staff with the knowledge and skills needed to provide mouth care on the wards. It will include training on completion of oral assessments, common mouth care conditions and management and documentation. It is relevant to new starters and existing staff who need a refresher. For more information contact Foundation Level Communication Skills Training 26 September 9.30am – 12.30pm 13 November 10.30am – 1.30pm If you would like to develop your communication skills and feel more confident dealing with distressed patients, relatives or colleagues then come along to one of the SAGE & THYME foundation level communication skills workshop.
