Building Actions of Guidance Services for Youth Employment Network Europe for citizens: Strand 2 Measure 2.2 Network of twinned towns Project 577113-CITIZ-1-2016-1-SE-CITIZ-NT

Background 1- New challenges makes difficult to support young people in finding an occupation 2- Ineffective communication channels between institutions and young people and lack of common spaces 3- Untapped potential of civil society organisations

Objectives Creating a European network on the promotion of employability and active participation of young people. 1. Raise awareness among local decision makers 2. Improve the skills of civil servants and introducing innovative tools and strategies related to engage with young people 3. Improve communication with young people and foster participation in the formulation of local policies. 4. Create synergies among actors at local level

MENTORING AND JOB-ORIENTEERING Street educators (Sweden) Municipal service Mission: support young people at risk of criminality Target: minors, especially those in local gangs

MENTORING AND JOB-ORIENTEERING Jobb och kunskapstorget (Sweden) Main target: Neet and people who are not self-sufficient Activities: individual counseling, training groups on basic skills for work, motivation coaching and education, internships.

SELF-ENTREPRENEURSHIP Framtidsfrön “Futures seeds” (Sweden) Mission: promotion of entrepreneurship skills and development of the entrepreneurial approach from kindergarten and primary school. Objective: supporting the schools in the task of teaching children aspects related to entrepreneurships such as curiosity and creativity. Help the school to work closely with the business world. GUIDELINES FOR INCLUSIVE AND EFFECTIVE JOB GUIDANCE SERVICES 1. Creating a culture of good entrepreneurship starting from school. 2. Providing young entrepreneurs with adequate spaces to develop their ideas 3. Offering no equity funding opportunities 4. Relocating services against segregation 5. Providing individual and/or group counseling opportunties
