All SMS are outfitted with Infrared Handheld Devices that allows for infrared surveys of electrical panels to detect the level of temperature emitted by objects. An infrared gun is a helpful early detection tool that is used to survey electrical temperatures emitted from electrical components and machinery. These surveys can detect heat variances caused by poor connections, faulty contacts and electrical overloads. Minimizing a building’s risks and maintenance costs, infrared surveys can help you identify low-cost corrective actions, relative to the high cost of emergency, unscheduled maintenance and equipment repairs due to property damage from a loss. Other applications used is in Social Service Setting to check water temperature to minimize scalding; roof scans to identify possible sources of leaks into the building.
