Objectives By the end of this lesson you will be able to: Understand the Role of the JNCO Know what is expected of a JNCO Understand your responsibilities for Cadet welfare Understand your responsibilities for Fire and Security This slide is required to introduce Section One of the course.

Responsibilities of a JNCO Control a section of cadets Maintain good conduct, behaviour and discipline Exercise appropriate responsibility for welfare Plan, Organise and/or complete tasks Carry out responsibilities for Fire & Safety Advise cadets on ATC organisation Read off of the bullet points detailed descriptions come later

Dealing with Cadet welfare problems Voice concerns to a Senior NCO Speak with the Squadron WO Speak with any other uniformed member of staff Continue to monitor the cadet in question Emphasise the point that they must pass on welfare issues to a higher authority.
