Board 6 Rating Process 2014-2015

2014-2015 SEASON Who has to rate this season? ALL Board 6 officials must submit a rating for his/her partner in every Board 6 game, except for scrimmages. Where to rate? In THE ARBITER. (Carrion-Salerno, 2014)

THE ARBITER After I have logged-in on THE ARBITER, what do I need to do? Click on EVALUATION TAB. Click on START. Input your data. FOR ANY CATEGORY, IF YOU GIVE A SCORE OF 5 or BELOW YOU MUST WRITE AN EXPLANATION/COMMENT. IT IS EXPECTED THAT ANY COMMENTS ARE BASED ON THE DEFINITION PROVIDED BY EACH CATEGORY. IF YOU DO NOT INPUT ALL THIS INFO, THE SYSTEM WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR RATING. Click SUBMIT. (Carrion-Salerno, 2014)

THE ARBITER Submit your score by category on scale of 1 to 10. EACH CATEGORY has a different weight: APPEARANCE: 10% MECHANICS: 10% TEAMWORK: 20% JUDGEMENT: 30% GAME MANAGEMENT: 30% (Carrion-Salerno, 2014)

Please DO NOT submit ratings for scrimmages. After you input all your scores, PLEASE review your input before clicking SUBMIT icon. You will be able to see your final submitted score after the system applies proper weight by category. Notes: Please DO NOT submit ratings for scrimmages. (Carrion-Salerno, 2014)

What happens if you need assistance using the computer? You MUST contact: José (ratingsboard6@gmail.com), Jay (jsalerno@npsct.org), or Ken (kdunn3@csc.com). Number of days to rate? When is the reminder? You will have 5 days to rate a fellow official. The ARBITER is set to send a reminder after 2 days of the game. Per Executive Committee directives, Ratings submitted after 5 days will be deleted. We expect that each Board 6 member complies with their professional responsibility and completes all of their ratings. (Carrion-Salerno, 2014)

ALSO: COMMENTS will be available on Board 6 website as well as on THE ARBITER FINES: Per Executive Committee policy, for not submitting a rating are: $25 (1-3) $50 (4-5) $100 (more than 5) (Carrion-Salerno, 2014)
