Last weeks task discussion Complete the following tasks Decide on at least 8 pages for your digital portfolio and what type of pages they are Draw a structure charts showing how the pages will fit together. Send an email that contains these details plus a copy of your Gantt chart

Audience and purpose Who will be looking at your portfolio? What will they be looking for ?

Who will be looking at your portfolio? Human resources staff in organisations you are applying to Technical staff

What will they be looking for ? Communication ability Technical skills Experience Outside interests

Task Create a short paragraph describing the purpose of your portfolio. This must include Why you are creating the portfolio? What you hope it will achieve? Will the portfolio be easy to use, amount of detail included explaining why. Email the paragraph to Browne@hlcollege.ac.uk

Navigation Include a hyperlink to all pages from home page Use a navigation bar with sub menu if needed Could use images for hyperlinks as well Navigation must be consistent throughout your portfolio

Page formatting Need house style to provide consistency and continuity Colour scheme easy on eye Font and size Headings larger Use bold, italic and underline carefully
