Commentary Sample 1- Merit The research evaluation sheets link well to the specifications and design principles and there is good use of design language in the discussion of alternatives explored. The level of the research phase is M-E possibly low E as there is extensive evaluation evident. The level of justification of the design principles drops off in the concept and development stages to an M level. The final evaluation is borderline M-E as the evaluation targets all/most specifications. The design process has been applied effectively at the M/E level. Overall grade M.
