From New Concepts to Products 6/20/2012 1

C ONTENTS Introduction Product Descriptions Advantages FAMS Platform Typical Uses What is on the Market Technical Explanations 6/20/2012 2

O NE W ORLD T ECHNOLOGY S TRATEGY Gradually bring mainframe computer technology to individuals and small business market Develop series of key small components that are marketable together and in a package 6/20/2012 3

F LASH A RRAY Array is connection of several similar small components to achieve big results Purpose is to save resources, engineering time, etc In lighting it is called LED, in computer CPU number of cores, ex. Quad Core, In Flash Storage devices we call it Flash Array 6/20/2012 4

D O I T Y OURSELF Have you ever run out of SD capacity while backing up data? Do you want to buy SSD? Do you want to try RAID function of your OS, but you are short of USB or SD ports? Do you find copying files one by one boring? Do you need… 6/20/2012 5

SDHC F LASH A RRAY D O I T Y OURSELF RAID-Mac OSX & Ubuntu have the function. It can combine storage capacity of 4 SDs Flash Duplicator-Can simultaneously duplicate from computer to 4 SDs-OWT provides Flash Duplicator as standard feature Easy to use-100% plug & play. Auto detects connected USB drives Security- Encrypt your data using OWTs powerful Flash Encryptor 6/20/2012 6

Distribution of music and video Distribution of sensitive information RAID which practically turns the device into SSD Sale and distribution of software and e-books Handouts at trade shows, events and expos USB Flash Array V2 Typical Uses 6/20/2012 7

USB F LASH S TORAGE H UB Use Large Stable Flash Storage Save money purchase as needs grow Choose your brand of SDHC Card Use Flash Duplicator software to make several copies or backup data This hub can handle 8 to 12 SDHCs Secure data using Government Std. Flash Encryptor 6/20/2012 8

F LASH S TORAGE H UB A DVANTAGES Chip: OWT uses the highest quality, NEC chip Chip foundry designs 1 chip for 4 ports OWT uses 3 chips for 10 ports OWT designed PCB Interleaved Ref. slide15 for optimum use. Hub has two important factors: Chip quality Number of chips PCB design i.e. The way chips are connected to each other and to the ports on PCB 6/20/2012 9

A WARD Hub won Bestcoverys best USB hub award: dynamic-high-speed- usb-hub dynamic-high-speed- usb-hub 6/20/

FAMS storage management software platform specially developed for Flash Array and Storage Hub products. So far FAMS supports: 1) Flash Duplicator 2) Flash Encryptor 3) Allows operating systems RAID to be used 4) Mac OSX, Window 7 and Ubuntu 6/20/

USB Flash Array V2 As Duplicator: Connect 6/20/

SDHC F LASH A RRAY M ARKET Competition: As Flash Array – It is unique As Duplicator: No competition-closest is the machine type: 1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field- keywords=SD+duplicator 6/20/

D UPLICATOR H UBS ON THE M ARKET USB Promo 7 port duplicator is selling for £ This hub at most has two Hub chips This Aleratec Duplicator is selling for $270.0 on Walmart and $315.0 on their own site We suspect it has just one Hub chip which was designed for 4 ports 6/20/

M EGA 10-P ORT H UB D ESIGNS Cascading 3 Interleaved Mega Hubs Device Ports Device USB Devices 6/20/

M EGA H UB D ESIGNS Advantages of Cascaded Hubs Ease of design and manufacture Low Cost Advantages of Interleaved Hubs High Performance Higher Capacity 6/20/

P ATENT A BSTRACT This invention provides a device of Flash Modules Array or Flash Array (FA) for short, with higher capacity, higher speed and lower power consumption. A device of flash array comprises: one or more physical I/O interfaces, for performing data transmission with the outside or upstream; one or more ports for flash modules consisting of multiple flash memory modules, a flash array controller, set between the physical I/O interface and the flash modules, further including: a block mapping unit, for performing the address mapping between the logical address which is transmitted between the physical I/O interface and the outside and the physical address which is transmitted between the physical I/O interface and the flash array. The invention is applied in the field of flexible solid state storage device. 6/20/
