Field Trip Guidelines Schedule Be here by 9am! If you’re riding the bus to school, do not worry- we will wait on all bus riders! Car riders/walkers- if you’re late, you will be left. Check in with your homeroom teacher. They will give you a sticker that tells you were to go! Leave after announcements. Wait to be told to go to your bus! Go to lunch at The Varsity Leave The Varsity around 11:30am to go to the CFHOF. Visit the CFHOF! Leave CFHOF around 2:45pm to come back to McClure Arrive around 3:45pm. Stay in homeroom until the end of the day!

Field Trip Guidelines Chaperones Treat your chaperone with respect. Follow all of their directions. Everyone is assigned to a group with a chaperone. Your NUMBER ONE JOB is to NEVER lose your chaperone. If you can’t see them, it is YOUR JOB to find them! If you need to leave to go the restroom or anything else, you need to speak to them first! If you have a problem staying with your chaperone, you will be removed from your group and spend the entire time with a teacher or administrator.

Field Trip Guidelines Manners Say thank you to: Clean up when: The bus driver! The staff of The Varsity- the person that takes your order, the person cleaning tables, the person that gives your food to you. The staff of the College Football Hall of Fame- the person who gives your group information Your chaperone (and any other chaperone you talk to!) Clean up when: You get off the bus. You get up from your table at The Varsity. Get back to school and you say goodbye to your chaperone!

Field Trip Guidelines Behavior If you get in trouble on the field trip, you will have an automatic office referral when we return to school. Behavior On the bus: Stay seated. Speak in an “inside voice”. Sit in the same place the entire time- ON EVERY TRIP. Clean up any trash when you get off the bus. At The Varsity: Wait patiently in line. There are a LOT of lines- go down to the left for the shorter lines! Be ready to order and pay BEFORE you get to the front of the line! Spread out to find a place to eat- there are plenty of tables!! Clean your space when you’re finished eating! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHAPERONE!

Field Trip Guidelines Behavior If you get in trouble on the field trip, you will have an automatic office referral when we return to school. Behavior At the CFHOF: Read stuff. Look at everything. Listen to the guide. Ask questions. Only touch things that are supposed to be touched. There are a LOT of interactive displays, so take the time to interact with them! Walk. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHAPERONE!

Lunch YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN LUNCH. If you plan on eating at The Varsity, bring money. $10 is PLENTY. Menu  Chaperones will NOT pay for your lunch. If you’re bringing your lunch, you are responsible for keeping up with it! Do NOT bring a lunch box! If you ordered a lunch from the school, find Ms. Smith at The Varsity, and she will give it to you!

Extra: Yes. You can bring your phones. Dress code is in FULL effect. They are YOUR RESPONSIBILTY. We will NOT hold a bus for you to find your phone. No earbuds/headphones AT ALL. Dress code is in FULL effect. Wear a college shirt! (Not required ) You are responsible for keeping up with any bags/jackets you bring. There will not be anywhere to store them. Teachers/chaperones will not watch/hold them for you.
