General Academic Information Academic year consists of two 16 week semesters, with shorter summer sessions Minimum full time course load = 12 units Block tuition system, with one cost for units Students must be full time to qualify to live on campus Reduced course load (<12 units) units may impact Financial Aid

Role of Faculty and Academic Support Staff After receiving written notification from DRC, faculty and DRC collaborate to develop a reasonable accommodation plan. DRC encourages students to establish close, supportive relationships with faculty.

Accommodations in Higher Education Faculty and DRC work to help students meet same performance standards as their non-disabled peers. Accommodations support success without fundamentally altering the structure or content of a course. DRC collaborates with faculty to promote development of time management and study skills, to facilitate regular class attendance, and on time submission of class assignments.

Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society Academic achievement of students with disabilities is recognized by membership. Local chapter sponsors mentoring program for incoming students with disabilities. Chapter activities provides leadership and community service opportunities.
