3 Location  Baylor University is located in Waco, Texas  That would be about 1,402.5 miles away from our school  Waco Texas is an Urban area an Urban area

4 Size of College  The current enrollment is 15,029 people  12,575 are undergraduates  That gives an average class size of 27 people  There is also a 14:1 student to teacher ration at Baylor University  This campus’ size is more than 800 acres

6 Environment  Baylor is a co-ed school which means it has both men and women  Baylor University is a Christian school, and a slogan they always say is: “Baylor University, a highly ranked Christian School”  Waco, Texas which is the nearest city has a population of 124,805 people

7 Admission Requirements  About 34,000 students apply, and only 16,000 get admitted  Admission test scores  Required  Secondary school GPA  Required  Secondary school rank  Required  Secondary school record  Required  TOEFL  Required  Completion of college preparatory program  Required  55:45 % submit SAT:ACT - 600 for average verbal score on SAT, 27 for average ACT score

8 Expenses  The tuition for 12 hours or more per semester is $14,360  The student fee would be $1,469 per hour  The laboratory course fee is $50  The chapel fee is $65  So the total would be about $16,044  An application would cost $50

9 Financial Aid  About 90% of the students at Baylor University receive some form of financial aid - This is important because the school realizes how important that money can be  The priority date for financial aid is March First  In order to receive aid you must complete the “Outside Scholarship Report Form”  This and the percentages calculator, can tell you how much money you can receive for aid

13 Athletics  Baylor University has a wide variety of Division I NCAA Athletics  Notables include: Football, Mens/Women’s basketball, baseball, along with many more  Women’s basketball team was the championship runner-up in the 2010-2011 season  The Football team had the Heisman winner, best college football player, name Robert Griffin III

16 Academics  Class sizes of 27 students  14 students:1 Teacher  Known as one of the top Christian Schools in the Country  Baylor has one of the top Graduates programs for Law studies  Best majors would be any that would help out with the law. Ex: English, History, Business…  Stellar Business and Arts Majors
