6-13, dealt with boundary changes Wilson’s 14 Points 1-5, were issues that Wilson believed had to be addressed to prevent another war. 6-13, dealt with boundary changes 14, called for the creation of an international organization to address diplomatic crises (League of Nations)

Treaty of Versailles Established nine new nations Barred Germany from having an army Return Alsace-Lorraine to France Germany had to pay Reparations, payment for damages War Guilt Clause (Article 231)- Germany had to solely accept responsibility for War

Opposition to the Treaty Many believed the League of Nations would threaten isolationism Henry Cabot Lodge, Senator Suspicious of the provision for joint economic and military action against aggression, even though it was voluntary.
