Charlton Fire District 2018 Budget

Town Law 181- Annual Budget and Levy of Taxes District Commissioners prepare and adopt a proposed annual budget for public consideration (July – Sept). District Commissioners hold a public hearing to solicit public input on the proposed annual budget (October). District Commissioners adopt a final annual budget after consideration of input from the public hearing (November). Adopted annual budget is attached to the budget adopted by the Town Board and the taxes will be levied by the Town as defined by the annual budget.
