Session Outcome #1 Describe the Center of Excellence model and the benefits of an industry- sector strategy for workforce development. One stop resource for industry Scale programs based on industry sector Anticipate and respond to policy shifts

Session Outcome #2 Describe examples of industry engagement and innovative partnerships that promote promising practices. Partnering with Boeing, Delta Airlines, Alaska and Sky West – Creation of Avionics Certificate Partnering with Public and Private energy industry and labor organizations to develop Leadership in the Trades Skill Profile (19 occupational profiles completed) http://cleanenergyexcellence.org/industry/skill-standards/ Partnering with labor and industry (Hospital Employees Education & Training) to support innovation and collaboration with curriculum development and delivery to incumbent workers.

Session Outcome #3 Value proposition that the sector strategy approach presents for community colleges in the 21st Century. Economic development drivers for industries vital to the states economy Maximize strategic partnerships and opportunities to collaborate across the Community and Technical College system with industry Providing skilled workforce for escalation of rapidly changing technology – Unmanned Vehicles
