The course is 100% final examination. There are 3 exams. Maths Exam Board and Course: Edexcel 1MA1 Tiers of Entry Higher – Grades 4 to 9 Foundation – Grades 1 to 5 Achieving a grade 4 or a grade 5 are equivalent on both higher and foundation it does not matter for colleges or employers which tier has been taken. The course is 100% final examination. There are 3 exams. Paper 1 – Non Calculator – 21st May (am) Paper 2 – Calculator – 6th June (am) Paper 3 – Calculator – 11th June (am)

French This GSCE includes 4 exams which are all worth 25% of the final grade. This examination is tiered (Higher/Foundation) Listening Speaking Reading Writing For the speaking element of the course students need to complete Role-play (2 mins F) (2 mins H) Photo card (2 mins F) (3 mins H) General conversation (3-5 mins F) (5- 7 mins H) Therefore it is vital that they have regular practice speaking the target language. In order to assist with this we are offering some bespoke revision afterschool.
