Follow the directions below to complete the activity. Get into assigned cooperative/collaborative groups. Using the Accountable Talk rubric, discuss the following question: In “Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take the Garbage Out,” the poet says, “Poor Sarah met an awful fate,/That I cannot right now relate.” What do you think that fate might be? Using the iPad app called Corkulous, post your sticky notes of your group comments and thoughts. Be sure to include any textual evidence or clues that support your opinions.
