1 Roll and Respond!!! After reading the interesting biography of Hans Christian Anderson, use your IPAD to scan the QR to respond to the text based evidence questions referring to the selection. Follow the directions below to complete the activity. Re-read the selection “The Ugly Duckling” in your assigned group. Take time to have “talk time” to discuss any interesting parts of the selection with your group . After reading the selection with your group, roll the QR dice and scan the QR with your group’s iPad. Each person in the group will have a turn to roll the QR dice and record the group’s answer. Discuss the question within your group, and respond to using text evidence based answers. Record your responses on your response sheet. Make sure that you are recording the answer next to the correct QR number that is on the dice. Once you have completed all your questions, one member from your group will bring the completed response sheet to me to be turned. This task uses: Common Core/NG Standard(s): RL.6.1 Cite textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text.
