PITCH By Afsana

What is the project about? This project is about the creative learner (me) producing a body of work , a portfolio. There are 4 pathways to choose from: Photographic Imaging Interactive Design Motion Graphics Stop Motion The Theme Is Centered Around ’Ordinary-Extraordinary’

My main focus was on photography as it is my strong point. INITIAL IDEAS. Create a stop motion animation with sweets. Photography collage Patterns in Nature Dance-I want to capture movement and emotion Flowers

FINAL IDEA! For my final idea I have decided to focus on capturing shadows, with my photography. This is the Ordinary part to my project. However will be incorporating nature in my scenes. Ordinary - Something which is normal and has no distinctive features. The Extraordinary part of my work is to turn it into a collage to create a bigger picture, piling the images on top. Extraordinary – unprecedented

DEVELOPMENT Areas of Development Being able to capture photos at the right moment Organization skills, have everything planned out and follow it step by step Presentation is key so I will have to work on that and be clear and straight forward with my project. There will be times where I will need help from my peers with certain tasks so team work skills will be needed Time management. I will need to keep track of time as this project is going on for a few weeks

Target Audience My ideal audience are to be in the age of 16 and over. Why you may ask? This is because I believe that I want my product to be a high quality photography project and students who interested into this topic / subject could be keen to have a snippet of my work and hopefully get inspired from it. However adults are freely have the capability to view and enjoy my project.

Inspiration! Serge Mendzhiyskogo Serge Mendzhiyskogo is a Russian artist. He takes a load of photos of the same city and then cuts them into strips and puts them back together collage-style to get the very distinctive look in his pieces. Mendzhiyskogo doesn’t present just one photograph in his works, his are the result of hundreds of photos merged into one complex image

Hannah Hoch Hannah Hoch was a German Dada artist. She is best known for her work of the Weimar period, when she was one of the originators of photomontage.

David Hockney is an English painter, draughtsman, printmaker, stage designer and photographer. An important contributor to the pop art movement of the 1960s, he is also considered one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century.
