3. The visual elements refer to the qualities which together make up the properties of a photograph or a piece of art or design. Understanding the visual elements will help you to develop your aesthetic awareness and give you the tools that you will need in order to be a better, more creative photographer. In addition to being able to find and compose these elements in a photograph, you will also develop a language to use when describing, evaluating or analyzing visual work.

Abstract photography is a process of creating an image with no true meaning or no clear subject involved.
Abstract photography leaves more to the imagination and helps us concentrate on texture, shapes, and design rather than the subject matter.
We’re looking to capture something in a way that it would not usually be seen.
Abstract photography is not about abiding by the rules. In fact, it’s the ideal opportunity to break the rules.
