Key Components of Effective Feedback Give within 5 mins Say what has gone well Then tell them what they could do even better next time, or what they could do differently next time that would make something even better Give an overall positive comment

Words to avoid… BUT ALTHOUGH HOWEVER

Lets practice! Exercise Each table choose 1 person to present to group and 1 to feedback. The rest of the group will be the coaching team. Presenter will be given 2 minutes to describe an object in 5 sentences without saying its name or its primary function Individual will give feedback, presenter will reflect and coaching group will coach on improving feedback
