CREDIT RECOVERY PROGRAM Success for All

What is Credit Recovery? Offers courses delivered in half-credit segments Provides credit recovery for students who have not been successful in an academic course Offers On-line curriculum – with individualized instruction, intervention and remediation

Who qualifies for Credit Recovery? Any student within the Six District Educational Compact for the first year. Any student who has failed a one-half credit- based portion of an academic course and who wishes to retake coursework for credit.

How do I register? Registration and orientation on Tuesdays only, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Must register on site at Schnee Learning Center – Return the following forms prior to starting course Student transcript Signed Intent to Participate Form from principal/counselor at high school Emergency Medical Form Signed Code of Conduct signature page – $95 payment

How much does it cost? $95 per half-credit ($190 for entire course) Refunds – Full if withdrawn prior to the start of class – 50% if withdrawn after the first day of class – None after the second day of class

When and how do I attend? Tutoring in Rooms 143 – Tuesday 3:30 to 5:30registration on this day only – Thursday 3:30 to 5:30 Courses must be completed in six weeks or less Work online from a remote site – Computers with high-speed internet access

What Courses Are Offered? What happens when I finish? Certificate of Completion – Issued by Schnee Once course requirements met – Certificate with Schnees official seal presented to the principal/counselor at his/her high school District schools counselor is responsible to record credit on transcript
